iMultiply are working in partnership with a leading tech firm to recruit a Trainee Systems Accountant in Edinburgh. This role is a truly exciting opportunity for someone passionate about systems and keen on playing a large part of the companies future.

The Role

Reporting to the Systems Accountant, this is a newly created position focusing on maintenance and upkeep of all financial systems while also managing many internal stakeholder relationships. This is a truly unique opportunity to work in a very fast paced role that offers progression, a competitive salary package and the opportunity to work in state of the art facilities.

You will be involved in but not restricted to the following duties:

Maintaining the finance systems and supporting its continued build and integration
Working closely with the database and infrastructure teams to ensure the data landing/exporting and the stability of the system
Building reports with Financial Reporter and Power BI running rolling period/year-end closes & FX maintenance
Support the delivery of system upgrade, good knowledge of the evergreen Microsoft approach and able to provide constructive feedback
Maintenance for all other finance systems including the maintenance of CODA and CEGID for record access
Assist in the training of a network of super users and trouble shooters to support users, and help create formal training for staff

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have the following experience:

Experience of MS D365 to achieve our ambitious plans but will consider someone with MX AX2012, and knowledge of PowerBI and Financial Reporter will strengthen your position within this dynamic team
You will be working within a fast moving, growth environment so your ability to work at pace with real energy is critical
Combined with your proactive approach, you'll be passionate about process improvement to take D365 in particular to the next level
Holding a professional accounting qualification would be useful although this is not essential - some finance exposure will be required though

On Offer

The role will offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £35,000 including an excellent benefits package which includes study support, pension, ample holidays and other great benefits.
