Accountancy Practice - Finance Specialist (Tax, VAT, Compliance)

iMultiply are working in partnership with a leading Edinburgh-based Accountancy Firm to recruit a Tax Client Manager.

The Practice

This well-known practice has a strong presence in Edinburgh offering audit, accountancy, tax and advisory services. Their Tax team continues to go from strength to strength and steady growth has created a new role.

The Role

This is a great opportunity to develop a career in Personal Tax, in fast-growing, progressive, and friendly firm. You will be responsible for a varied portfolio of clients that includes high-net-worth individuals, partnerships, partners, sole traders, farmers, directors, and other professionals as well as Trusts and Estates.

Day-to-day you will be responsible for:

Manage all tax compliance requirements for your portfolio with direct client contact.
Preparing and reviewing tax returns and P11d’s, as well as Capital Gains and Inheritance tax work.
Raising fees and monitoring your fee budget and ensuring that deadlines are met.
Support senior members of the team with more complex tax planning opportunities.
Liaising with clients and HMR.

To be considered for the role you will ideally have;

At least 3 years’ Personal Tax experience

ATT Qualified or working towards a similar qualification.

Experience of Tax Planning
Experience of CCH Personal Tax software would be useful, but training can be provided.

A team-player with good organisation skills and ability to communicate efficiently.
