Paying up to £43,000 P.A.

A well-known and prestige accountancy firm is looking for a highly motivated Senior Tax Associate to join their expanding tax team. This opportunity will clear progression, offer full study support packages (ATT/CTA/ICAS) and will be able to provide bespoke advice in all tax areas to clients.

Their corporate clients range from large businesses to smaller owner-managed businesses across many sectors including, property and construction, retail, hospitality, professional services, medical and veterinary services. Their private clients include entrepreneurs, high net worth individuals both UK and Non-UK residents and owners/shareholders of our corporate clients.


The Role


You will work within different tax disciplines, including corporation tax and personal tax with some experience within both indirect tax and specialist taxes, including employment tax and inheritance tax.

Within Corporate Tax you will prepare corporation tax computations and returns to ensure that they show a true representation of the company's tax position, which will include group relief claims and surrenders.

Within Personal Tax you will ensure the clients in your portfolio meet all their tax obligations by preparing and submitting tax returns and all other necessary requirements.

Within Indirect Tax you will be involved in communications with HMRC and support colleagues researching VAT technical questions in collaboration with our external VAT adviser.

You will also learn and develop the following skills:

• Develop a thorough understanding of the client’s business in order to provide appropriate tax advice where relevant.  

• Be able to obtain relevant information from other departments and clients whilst building good communication with both.

 • Develop a thorough understanding of the tax legislation and its applications to the client’s individual circumstances and work alongside Partners and directors on advisory and planning projects.

• Work directly with our clients and develop strong relationships.

You will have full support as you progress through your professional qualifications, receiving a wide variety of experiences along the way and you will be mentored and developed by a team with a wealth of skills and knowledge, who will strive to provide you with all the support you will need.
