iMultiply are working in partnership with an Edinburgh based Accountancy Firm to recruit for the position of Senior Payroll Manager, offering a superb salary and excellent flexibility.

The Role

The role of Senior Payroll Manager would be well suited to an experienced Payroll professional with management experience. Ideally, you will have experience in a bureau environment however this isn’t essential.

Day-to-day you will be responsible for;

Leading the overall payroll function (8), working closely with the Payroll Manager
Co-ordinating the delivery of the service in a timely fashion and in line with SLAs
Managing workflow and delegating where necessary
Coaching and developing the team
Assessing existing processes and suggesting improvements/refinements where appropriate
Keeping up to date with legislative changes
Dealing with queries from customers
Maintaining and enhancing client relationships
Playing a key role in business development and winning new clients
Cross-selling and promoting the wider Firm
Managing fees and WIP

To be considered for the role you will ideally have;

Seasoned payroll professional, ideally with experience in a Bureau
Strong and capable people manager
Solutions driven and problem-solving attitude
A positive and open mind
