iMultiply are working with a leading non-for-profit organisation to recruit an Interim Management Accountant on an initial 6 month contract based in Edinburgh. The Company 

The employer is a well-established non-for-profit organisation headquartered in Edinburgh. They are based all over Scotland and are constantly striving to improve their services. Therefore, they are looking to hire an individual who is able to bring fresh ideas to the table; and who is looking to make a direct impact to a great cause.

The Role

The role of Senior Management Accountant will report to the Senior Finance Manager.  The successful individual will be involved in the preparation of monthly management accounts; budgeting and forecasting, providing Providing high-quality analysis and comprehensive advice, support and guidance to relevant Directors, Managers and budget holders.

The successful candidate will be experienced delivering the above tasks.

You will be involved with but not limited to the following duties:

  • Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Analysing the difference in spend versus budget
  • Preparation of Cashflow projections 
  • Assisting in the preparation of draft year-end accounts 
  • Other Ad Hoc finance related duties

To be considered for the role you must: 

  • Qualified Accountant
  • Have experience of preparing management accounts
  • Have experience with accounting software packages
  • Have excellent communication and relationship building skills 
  • Have good MS Office Excel literacy, including pivot tables, vlookups etc.

On Offer

The role of Senior Finance Manager will offer a salary of £45,000 to £60,000, the role is hybrid and comes with a very flexible working pattern.
