Accountancy Practice - Accountant (Qualified)

iMultiply is delighted to be partnering with an award winning multi-national accountancy practice, with a large presence in Scotland, which is currently looking to recruit a Senior Internal Auditor into its Glasgow based team.

The Role

The main areas of responsibility of this role will include:

Leading the delivery of internal audits
Planning audits through audit fieldwork, reporting writing and completion
Conducting interviews, reviewing documents, carrying out audit testing, agreeing findings and preparing draft audit reports
Identifying, analysing and documenting control weaknesses and making recommendations to address these and to add value
Mentoring colleagues at an earlier stage of their career and working collaboratively with both Trainees and Managers alike

Person Requirements

The successful candidate will be confident in understanding key risks and controls based on your experience and knowledge of best practice
You will understand the importance of working in partnership with your clients to recommend appropriate solutions to any areas of risk within their organisation
The  ideal candidate will be ICAS, ACCA, CIPFA or IIA qualified however, candidates with other, relevant qualifications or a proven and extensive track record in this type of role will also be considered
