iMultiply are delighted to be recruiting for a Temporary Senior Finance Officer to join an organisation in the Public Sector on a Temporary to Permanent basis. This role is to start asap.

The Company

A Lanarkshire based not for profit organisation with excellent public transport links and onsite parking. This organisation has recently gone through organisational restructuring.

The Role

Maintenance and reconciliation of cashbook
Reconciliation of multiple bank accounts
Prepare and posting monthly journals, reconciliations, accruals and prepayments
Process timeous payment of suppliers and statutory bodies
Prepare management accounts and assist with the preparation of budgets
Assist the Housing, Maintenance department to ensure the accuracy and reconcile the income (rental and factor) and recharges expenses

Key challenges in the role will include:

Ability to problem solve and support team resolve errors in ledgers
Escalation to stakeholders if financial procedures are not being followed
Work prioritisation across the finance team
Dealing with finance queries from across the organisation effectively

On Offer

The position of Finance Manager will offer a hourly rate equivalent of £42,000. The organisation is looking to appoint on a Full- time basis and the office premises are located in Lanarkshire although blended working will be an option for this role.
