£50,000 - 60,000 - Financial Services - Finance Executive/Management

iMultiply are working in partnership with a growing investment company based in Edinburgh city centre. The company is looking for a Qualified Accountant to join their business.

The Company:

A thriving and highly entrepreneurial Investment company that is renowned for exceeding industry standards hence their rapid growth. This owner managed business has grown extremely rapidly over the past three years with no signs of slowing down. Furthermore, this business has secured and built an exceptionally talented team which they are once again looking to expand.

The Role:

The Qualified Accountant position requires a highly motivated qualified accountant who can take the lead on a number of high-profile clients and deliver an excellent level of service. They should be comfortable using their initiative when required and enjoy the challenge of new learning experiences. The successful candidate would be working within the finance team, reporting directly to the Head of Finance. They will be responsible, both personally and as part of the wider team, to liaise directly with clients to deliver a bespoke service to each client.

On Offer:

The Qualified Accountant role will offer a salary of £50,000 - £60,000 plus a competitive benefits package including a discretionary bonus. The company’s offices are based in Edinburgh city centre and easily accessible via public transport. This opportunity is also suitable for candidates who are looking for a part time opportunity.

You will be involved in but not restricted to the following duties:

Preparation of quarterly management accounts and forecasting for clients, discussing with them directly as required.
Carrying out year-end account’s preparation for corporates, partnerships and trusts using Sage, Xero & Excel.
Preparation of draft statutory accounts information for presentation to and liaison with auditors
Responsible for the review of corporation and personal tax work
Preparation of VAT returns, including a group, partial exemption return
Day to day cashflow management and payments

To be considered for this opportunity you must have the following experience:

ICAS/ACCA qualified accountant having trained in practice with exposure to financial services industry.
Enthusiasm to learn and confidence to deal with all levels of seniority.
Experience in preparation of management accounts including dealing with third parties to ensure the financial information contained within the accounts is complete.
