iMultiply are partnering with a leading UK business based in Glasgow City Centre as they recruit an Payroll Supervisor on a permanent basis.

The Role

Processing monthly payroll records for 480 staff and 180 pensioners
Managing starter and leavers on the system
Creating starts on the firm’s timesheet and costing system
SMP/SPP/SAP records and calculations & associated internal reporting.
Calculating monthly overtime and producing reports against budget
Processing IR35 payroll (2 no. employees)
Preparation of journal with monthly salary costs
Processing tax code notifications
Managing all HMRC inputs, PAYE / NIC
Recording annual leave
Monitoring submission of staff timesheets
Maintaining Cyclescheme loans and repayments
Preparation of various reports for management, including staff numbers
Ad Hoc requests for payroll oriented data.

The Requirements

Proven experience as an Payroll Supervisor or similar role.
Solid understanding of Payroll functions.
Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
A proactive and adaptable attitude, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
