iMultiply are delighted to be working with a market leading beverage supplier looking for an Accounts Payable Administrator at their easily accessible Glasgow office.

The Role

The Payroll Manager will take overall ownership of the complete payroll cycle for our payrolls within the group in the UK & Ireland. You will be required to undertake reviews of employee benefits to ensure the Company’s offering is competitive within the market at all times.  You will ensure all statutory reporting is valid, up to date and submitted within the necessary time period.

As Payroll Manager you will be involved in but not restricted to the following duties:

  • Managing the payroll from start to finish whilst ensuring payroll is processed in an accurate, compliant, and timely manner, working closely with the HR & Finance teams 
  • Act as the main point of contact for all employee payroll queries, providing exceptional service to the business
  • Ensure integrity of the payroll system, data, and functionality - ensuring system updates are made when required and meet our needs. 
  • Work with Finance on payroll liabilities, reconciliations and resolving payroll discrepancies
  • Ensure compliance with all HMRC and both external & internal audit requirements
  • Ensure all year-end process are completed accurately and in a timely manner eg production of P60s, P11ds, P14 and P35
  • Calculate and manage all statutory payments eg maternity, paternity etc
  • Deal with payroll enquiries, maintain employee confidence and ensure complete confidentiality of all information and maintains/updates payroll records for all changes (salaries, job titles, depts., etc.)
  • Maintain payroll guidelines by keeping written policies and procedures up to date - ensure compliance with UK and Ireland legislation by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements and best practice; advising management on required action
  • Interface and manage relationship between the Company and any relevant suppliers or partners, such as SDWorx etc.
  • Ensure an accurate and up-to-date user guide is available for all payroll processes
  • Adopt a continuous improvement approach looking to provide efficiencies to processes and procedures 

 

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have the following:

  • Professional payroll qualification
  • IT competent in Microsoft Office packages (Excel) to advanced level
  • In-depth and up-to-date working knowledge of SD Worx (desirable)
  • Up to date information regarding all legislation relating to payroll and benefits 
  • Can undertake entire payroll process from start to finish autonomously 
  • Previous experience of carrying out all year end processes

On Offer

This is a Permanent Full-Time role based in Glasgow, an easily accessible location with multiple transportation routes. The role offers up to £42,000, pension and generous holiday allowance.
