iMultiply is working with a well established, independent accountancy practice based in Glasgow to recruit a Tax Manager.

The Firm

This Chartered Accountancy practice is friendly and approachable and provides accountancy and tax services to Owner Managed Businesses and High Net Worth Individuals.

The Role

The position of Tax Manager will report directly to the Directors of the firm and will involve all aspects of running and overseeing the Tax operation. This role is key to delivering a strong operational performance and driving a high degree of client service and relationship building.

Duties and Responsibilities

Review of work and managing workload of self and others.
Responsible for delivering a high quality and proactive client service.
Developing strong and effective relationships with both existing and potential clients
Implementing new processes
Supporting the motivating, managing and developing of team members
Promoting a positive working culture.
Management and development of the trainees towards successful completion of qualifications.
Keeping abreast of technical changes and updates through a commitment to continuous professional development.
Training and coaching colleagues to ensure effective performance
Manage and report on financial performance in line with agreed KPIs.
Being ambitious and responsible for your own career and personal growth, as well as the growth of the Firm.
Be a role model for others by consistently demonstrating behaviours which contribute towards an effective working culture.

Experience, Qualifications and Attributes

CA/CTA is preferred
Integrity
A people focus with an interest and capability to manage, motivate and develop others.
Results driven with the ability to manage and continuously improve both own and others performance
Good decision making and leadership skills
Good commercial acumen and experience
Strong communication skills both written and oral
