iMultiply are working with a market leader in the hospitality industry, who currently have an exciting vacancy for a dynamic and ambitious Management Accountant in their Kilmarnock office.

The Role
Reporting to the Head of Finance, this roles offers a blend of management accounting; forecasting; business partnering; commercial insight and team leadership. To lead a small finance team in ensuring the smooth running of the finance function, producing timely, accurate, well- presented information to support key business decisions.
You will be required but not limited to:
• Lead a small finance team providing training, development and guidance where required.
• Ensuring 100% accuracy in data processing within SAGE 200
• Ensuring financial information is available on a timely manner to support decision making process.
• Oversee preparation of weekly financial reports
• Ownership of the month end close process
• Preparation of monthly management accounts including Profit and Loss, balance sheet, cashflow for all entities
• Provide financial analysis on venue performance, offering insight to assist directors / managements’decision making
• Completion of monthly balance sheet reconciliations including fixed assets management and banking reconciliation
• Support in the preparation of the annual budget and forecasting process.
• Cashflow management
• Completion and submission of quarterly VAT returns for all entities
• Ownership of the year-end financial audit process
• Working across functions to review / improve process efficiency where required.
• Adhere to and help implement agreed internal controls of the business
• Adhoc tasks as required by the Head of Finance
Competencies/ key characteristics required:
• Proven experience as a Management Accountant and of managing a small team
• Qualified Accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ICAS) or Qualified by Experience
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Accountancy Software programs (SAGE 200)
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical skills with a keen focus on attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organisation skills and work ethic, being able to work within tight deadlines.
On Offer
This is a Full-Time role offering a salary of between £30,000 - £40,000, performance related bonus, pension scheme and flexible benefits.
