The Role
This is a unique opportunity to gain exposure to a wide range of senior stakeholders and complex projects across the wider group.
The Group Systems Accountant is responsible for supporting the continuous improvement of Finance process and implementing solutions to maximise department efficiencies.
As part of the continuing integration into an international corporate group, this role will focus on aligning Finance and Tax operations with all business units across the wider group and will also have exposure of other projects across the group.
Key responsibilities include leading multiple and often complex projects, from defining and managing scope to delivering a viable product/solution to the business. Acting as the liaison between ITS and the wider business to transform system design concepts to a detailed system design, you will also prepare conceptual designs of proposed technical solutions and lead acceptance testing to ensure system function is in line with the specification.
To be successful in this role you must meet the following criteria:
- Project management and/or Business Analysis training
- System configuration and/or development knowledge
- Professional accountancy qualification is desirable
On Offer
This Group Systems Accountant role is offered on a full time, permanent basis with a salary up to £75,000 depending on experience. Hybird working is in place with 2 days per week in the office and the rest remotely from home. The working pattern includes a half day every Friday, meaning every weekend is a long weekend.
