iMultiply are working in partnership with an Edinburgh based company to recruit a Finance Assistant. The role is paying a salary of £25,000 a year and has been created to give candidates an opportunity to make their first move in Finance.

The Company

A well established business in the UK that are now going through a period of growth & change. They are a high performing business looking to add a Graduate Finance Assistant to their team on a permanent basis. The business are based in Edinburgh and operate a flexible hybrid working policy seeing staff in the office 1-2 days per week.

The Role

The key remit of the Finance Assistant role is to assist with the purchase ledger tasks for the business with processing invoices, company expesnes but also has scope for some Payroll admin & sales ledger tasks.

Accurately process invoices, ensuring they are correctly coded, approved, and matched to purchase orders
Prepare payment runs, ensuring accuracy and adherence to payment terms
Review employee expense claims, ensuring compliance with company policies
Month End Reporting
Assist with month-end closing activities, including reconciling vendor statements and preparing accruals

To be considered for the role you must meet the following:

Experience within a Finance Assistant or Accounts Payable position
Experience using Excel - pivot tables, Vlookups
