iMultiply are looking to recruit two Graduate Accounts Payable Assistants for a fast-paced company within the Industry of Facilities Management, based within North Lanarkshire. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious team player keen to join a fast-paced business and a busy role where you will learn quickly.

The organisation is a multi-national Facilities Management organisation, which are going through a period of rapid growth, hence the reasoning for the two opportunities. With a vast portfolio range, the  operations are spread throughout Europe.

The Role

As Graduate Accounts Payable Assistant, you will work as part of the accounts payable team to offer a professional service to internal and external clients in order to ensure the process and payment of invoices is timely and efficient. You will be a proactive individual who thrives in a team environment and who is both flexible and hardworking in their approach to work with good customer service skills.

Responsibilities

  • Process invoices through to payment within our SLA requirements.

  • Pro-actively manage and resolve queries, via email and phone, from internal and external contacts.

  • Perform supplier statement reconciliations and other control processes on a monthly basis.

  • Support within the team processing expenses to a tight deadline in order to maintain the systems in place.

  • Work closely with the commercial team to ensure a smooth and seamless service.

  • Develop close working relationships with internal customers to fully understand the business as well as establish a credible and effective network of contacts.

  • Work with internal and external suppliers to actively support and initiate teamwork to achieve an excellent service record of accomplishment.

  • Identify and understand new ways of working in light of the changing work environment.

  • Demonstrate a keen interest in process and system improvements by both suggesting and working to deliver improved efficiency.

  • Attend departmental meetings as required.

  • Embrace a collaborative learning culture with your team and the wider business.

  • Assist senior management as requested.

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have the following experience:

  • Ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong administration skills and ability to manage data
  • Eager to learn and expand your knowledge to ensure you work efficiently  
  • Competent in Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel)
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of numeracy and accuracy
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
