A fantastic opportunity to join a leading Advisory Firm based in Glasgow. The business has offices across the UK.

The Role

The role of Forensic Accountant is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to forge a career in the Forensics space. The ideal candidate will be coming from an audit background, prior experience in Forensics is not required. The successful applicant will join a small but experienced team.

You will be responsible for but not limited to the following duties:

  • To assist directors in fieldwork and report writing
  • To assist directors, develop the forensic accounting services provided including the development of strategy
  • Assist directors with forensic accounting caseload
  • Undertake detailed financial analysis, investigation and interpretation
  • Assist with report drafting
  • Proactively contribute to departmental and firm-wide business development activities

To be considered for the role you will ideally have:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (or ACCA equivalent)
  • Have experience in Practical auditing / accounts preparation essential
  • Effective communicator with excellent report writing skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to cope with multiple responsibilities
  • Must be able to demonstrate a commitment to high standards of both
