iMultiply are working in partnership with a growing distribution and logistics business as they recruit for a Finance Supervisor. The company is based on the outskirts of Edinburgh with the role offering a salary of £35,000 – £40,000 plus an excellent benefits package.

The Company

A highly commercial company based in Edinburgh are currently seeking a Finance Supervisor to join their ever-growing team. This position presents the opportunity to join a massively growing business that is operating within an established business sector. The business is already very well established and now requires talented & ambitious individuals to complement its already impressive team.

The Role

The role of Finance Supervisor presents the opportunity to join an established finance function and work with an experience Financial Controller. The role will offer ample career progression development opportunities due to the significant size of the finance function and the overall business. The role will incorporate all aspects of the company's transactional finance function including Payroll, sales ledger, purchase ledger and general ledger. To be considered you must have a minimum of 24 months in a supervisory experience and be well versed in the use of an ERP systems.

You will be involved in but not restricted to the following duties:

Management of month end close process. Ensure all month end journals and balance sheet reconciliations are completed and reviewed within challenging timeframes.
Prepare individual entity month end balance sheet reviews.
Preparation of complex calculations and journal entries, including multi-currency transactions.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for review by Senior leadership.
Reviewing the corporation tax returns.
Assist when preparing and filing annual statutory accounts
Day-to-day control of the financial ledgers, (AP, AR GL, Cash Book)
Authorising bank transactions
Develop and streamline new and existing processes

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have the following experience:

Part Qualified CA/ACCA with strong financial accounting/ month end close experience.
Experience operating with an enterprise wide, integrated finance system across multiple business units.
Decisive and confident in operating autonomously on a regular basis, positive, self-reliant, open-minded and enthusiastic attitude.
Confident in a fast paced, change environment.
Very strong interpersonal skills
Advanced Excel skills

The position of Finance Supervisor will offer a salary of £35,000 - £40,000 plus an excellent benefits package. The offices are based on towards the North side of Edinburgh and have parking available onsite or are easily accessible via public transport.
