iMultiply are working with an established organisation looking to recruit a Finance Officer in Glasgow on a 12 month fixed term contract with a view of a permanent role upon completion. This business are going through a real period of growth and as such are hiring across the business to ensure they cater to their customer base in the best way possible.

The Role

The Finance Officer position presents the opportunity to join an effective and efficient finance function. The successful candidate will have exposure to the full finance function operations – from transactional processing and reconciliations, to assisting with the preparation of Management and Statutory Accounts and audit cycle.

On Offer

The role of Finance Officer will offer a starting salary of £27,000 and exposure to a consistently changing organisation and industry where things move at differing paces. The headquarters of the business are based in Glasgow Southside and have parking available onsite.

You will be involved in but not restricted to the following duties:

  • Reporting to the Finance Manager
  • Processing invoices
  • Matching, coding and batching of invoices
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Financial administration
  • Dealing with petty cash
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Dealing with purchase and supplier enquiries
  • Ensuring compliance with processes, procedures and financial controls

To be considered for this opportunity you must have the following experience:

  • Have a minimum of 3 years practical finance experience 
  • Ability to liaise and communication with stakeholders
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office including Excel
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Any experience of Sage would be beneficial
