This is an opportunity for an accountant to join a growing Scottish, owner managed business with a history spanning more than 100 years.

The Role

iMultiply has been engaged by this long-established company in their search for a Finance Manager.  Based out of their premises in the Centre of Glasgow, the Finance Manager is a new addition to their senior team due to continued growth. This is an all-encompassing finance role suitable for an enthusiastic, hands-on accountant. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the company's finance and reporting functions. You will report directly to the owners while also managing the Admin team. Additionally, you will also collaborate with various stakeholders to drive improvements and add value across the business.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Financial control and management of the Firm's financial operations including billings, credit control and cash management.
  • Production of monthly management accounts, together with corresponding analysis reports.
  • Reviewing financial, processes and system controls.
  • Firm's regulatory compliance.
  • Preparation and submission of VAT returns.
  • Overseeing and reviewing monthly payroll.
  • Budgeting.
  • Business partnering with non-financial stakeholders.
  • Managing the admin function of the business, providing support to the partners and all fee earning staff.
  • Co-ordinating and attendance at monthly management meetings.
  • Ad hoc duties.

On Offer

This role offers a salary in the region of £50,000, negotiable depending on experience.
