£45,000 - Industry & Commerce - Accountant (Qualified)

The Role

This is an opportunity for a Finance Manager to join a world-class finance function and will offer career progression and development opportunities due to the significant size of the business. The key purpose of this role is to support the finance function with the delivery of timely, accurate and insightful management information. The role will also require close working relationships with other department heads throughout the UK.

The Offer

This position will offer a competitive salary of £45,000 plus an excellent benefits package.

You will be involved in but not restricted to the following duties:

Manage the bank reconciliations systems and processes including review of monthly bank reconciliations
Manage the expense reimbursement systems and processes including review of twice monthly expense payment runs.
Review of monthly intercompany reconciliations and intercompany interest
Preparation and submission of monthly consolidated management reporting packs under IFRS
Support with insurance renewals and insurance related queries
Manage and perform the month end sales and nominal ledger rollovers
Review of unallocated cash reports

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have the following experience:

Newly Qualified Accountant
Strong accounting and analytical knowledge and understanding
Demonstrable experience of working within a commercial, high volume, multi-site environment
Significant relevant experience in an accounting and/or business analyst role
Advanced system skills including Excel
A good level of commercial acumen, coupled with a hands-on, positive attitude
Highly developed communication skills including the ability to work effectively with a diverse group of people as well as alone
Controls and compliance minded
Excellent attention to detail
