iMultiply is working in partnership with a Scottish-based business to recruit a Finance Business Partner

The Company

A small but growing business based in Scotland. The business has ambitious plans to expand in the coming years and they are looking to add like-minded people to achieve this growth.

The Role

The position of Finance Business Partner would be ideally suited to someone coming from an Accountancy Practice or Industry background. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be passionate about delivering an insightful and valued service.

The role will work closely with owner-managed businesses across the UK. Building strong relationships with your customers will be key to success in this position.

Responsibilities:

Reviewing management accounts and VAT returns
Providing commentary on management accounts
Building cashflow forecasts in Float, working with their internal teams and presenting insight
Ensuring that client finance department processes are optimised, automated and run efficiently
Holding management accounts meetings with clients, presenting the “story” the numbers tell, giving them advice and answering questions
Ensuring that information is received from clients and management accounts are available in advance of pre-booked meetings
Assisting junior team members with technical queries and training
Liaising with Finance Directors to ensure best service for clients
Lead on client service for portfolio (normally between 5-15 clients)
Ensure work is in scope, upsell where appropriate and ensure work completed within budget

Requirements:

Qualified Accountant
Customer focused and passionate about delivering a quality service
Team player
Ability to work to strict deadlines

On Offer

This Finance Business Partner role is offered on a full time, permanent basis with a competitive salary of £40,000 - £47,000 £DOE. Benefits include 33 days holiday and flexible working.
