£45,000 - Industry & Commerce - Accountant (Qualified)

iMultiply are working in partnership with a well-established and growing business based in West Lothian

The Company

A very established UK business that has gone from strength to strength in recent years with continued growth expected. The company has several manufacturing and distribution sites facilitating customers across the UK and Europe. They are now looking to bring in additional resource to the finance team based at West Lothian, creating a new position of Finance Business Partner

The Role

Reporting to the Divisional Financial Controller, the role is commercially focussed but hands on and will require the successful candidate to develop good working relationships both on site with production managers and with key members of the senior leadership team.

You will be involved in but not restricted to the following duties:

Responsible for preparation of management accounts for multiple sites
Report & present the results to the Regional Director & Financial Controller.
Preparation and distribution of management information packs, spending time reviewing with production Managers to drive improvements and efficiencies at each site.
Produce KPI’s to generate discussion on performance.
Prepare the half yearly reforecast.
Prepare the annual budget
Prepare management accounts for multiple sites to agreed deadlines.
Summarise & present management accounts for multiple sites to give an overview to Finance and non-financial managers.
Periodic reconciliation of key balance sheet accounts.
Provide information for the annual audit and assist with all audit queries relating to the Business Unit.
Manage the internal controls, processes, and procedures to ensure standard and consistent results.
Implement and deliver improved all round performance, management information and support corporate goals.
Develop relationships with key stakeholders across the business.

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have the following experience:

Qualified Accountant, qualified by experience will be considered with exceptional practical experience
Project or process improvement experience
Exposure to a highly commercial environment such as engineering, oil & gas, manufacturing, construction etc.
Strong stakeholder management
Proficient user of Excel
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

On Offer

The position of Finance Business Partner will offer a salary of £45,000 plus a strong benefits package. The offices are based close to West Lothian with Parking available on site. The role will offer an element of flexibility and agile working but will require someone to understand the importance of being on site for a role of this nature.
