iMultiply are working with a thriving and dynamic charity to recruit a Finance Business Partner based in Edinburgh. The role is paying a competitive salary along with some great additional benefits.

The Company

A well established and highly performing business that operates primarily on the United Kingdom. They are a high performing business once again going through a period of growth and are looking to add a Finance Business Partner to their team. The Role

The role of Finance Business Partner will work with an experienced finance team and will report to Senior Management. The successful individual will have experience of maintaining the control and analysis of all accounting records for the company.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and will be able to build efficient working relationships with a number of non-finance stakeholders within the organisation. It is also key for this individual to balance their time effectively and prioritise set tasks at the appropriate time.

You will be involved in but not restricted to the following duties:

Ensure management accounts are produced in a consistent format, for all stakeholder.
Lead the collation of management accounts across the organisation into a reporting pack.
Review all accounts, to ensure that a clear narrative has been provided.
Accounting for complex revenue recognition processes.
Production and update of the companies long term business plan on a regular basis.
Efficient management of chart of accounts structure.
VAT/CCL return creation and processing.
Develop process notes for the preparation of management accounts and budgets across the organisation.
Month-end and Year-end processing and preparation of management accounts and audit support documentation.
Prepare and present financial information, including accounts and budgets, to subsidiary management teams.

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have the following experience:

Qualified, qualified-by-experience accountant or part qualified
Customer focused
Deadline oriented
Disciplined yet flexible approach will be required to fully deliver within a job-share structure
Ability to quickly understand complex issues and originate creative solutions, our business is complicated.
Capable of delivering within repeated and regular deadlines
