iMultiply are working with a fast growing, adventurous travel business to find their new full time Finance Assistant in their Glasgow office.

The role

This travel business is actively seeking a dynamic Finance Assistant. An ideal candidate for the position would be a enthusiastic recent graduate looking to kick-start or further develop their career in a fast-moving international travel business where they will be supported to learn and develop their accountancy experience.

The Finance Assistant is expected to, but not restricted to:

Posting & Reconciling payments
Bank Reconciliations
Assisting with the VAT returns
Processing payments to suppliers
Management and resolution of key invoicing & credit control issues
Assisting with month end duties
Weekly payment runs
Raising Sales Invoices

To succeed in the role you will need the following:

Experience in a similar role with a passion for our business and travel.
Experience of working with NetSuite or similar accounting package.
Experience in dealing with suppliers
Exceptional interpersonal skills
Problem solving skills and an ability to think outside the box to identify ways to improve processes
Skilled user of MS packages, most specifically Excel.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Flexibility and ability to adapt to situations in a fast growing business
