A fantastic opportunity to join one of the largest Accountancy Practices in Scotland. This practice is well established with a strong reputation and client base. The firm is constantly looking for ways in which to progress and develop which has created new roles and opportunities within the business.
The Role
As highlighted above the firm is very much embracing the new technology within the Accountancy marketplace. This is a brand-new role that has been created to help clients get the most of out of their cloud-based system, which in turn will make processes more efficient and effective. The purpose of this role is to partner with the firm's wide-ranging client base and help achieve this through training and app advisory. A clear passion for Xero and extensive experience of using the system is required.
You will be responsible for but not limited to the following duties:
Training clients on Accounting platforms
Recommending apps/add-ons to improve clients procedures
Answering client queries
Providing internal training and support
Identifying new business opportunities
General compliance
To be considered for the role you will ideally have:
2 years’ experience of working with a Cloud Accounting Package (ideally Xero) –
Experience with apps and add-ons to Xero would be highly beneficial
Excellent communication skills – being comfortable conducting phone/video calls with clients
Be approachable and friendly
On Offer
The position of Cloud Accounting Specialist is a new and exciting opportunity that offers excellent growth potential. This role would be an excellent fit for a candidate who is Part-Qualified, Qualified or Qualified by Experience with a passion and aptitude for working with clients on the cloud accounting software such as Xero. The role will offer a salary of £35,000 - £40,000 plus benefits.
