iMultiply are delighted to be working with a highly established and recognisable firm to find a Credit Controller for their modern, Glasgow City Centre office. 

The Company

They are currently seeking a highly skilled Credit Controller to join on a 12-month fixed term contract to support the finance department.

The Role

As a Credit Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing the credit and collections process. You will work closely with our clients and internal teams to ensure timely payments and maintain a healthy cash flow. Your attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to resolve issues will contribute significantly to our financial success during this contract period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively manage and oversee the credit control process.
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices and ensure timely payments from clients.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to resolve payment issues and negotiate payment plans when necessary.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing and account discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collections activities.
  • Provide regular reports on collections status and credit risk assessments.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of credit control policies and procedures.

To be considered for the role you must meet the following criteria 

  • Previous experience in credit control or a related financial role.
  • Strong understanding of credit control principles and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools, including Excel.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently.
  • A results-driven approach with a focus on achieving targets.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
