iMultiply are working in partnership with a well-known Edinburgh based Accountancy Practice to recruit a Corporate Tax Associate.

The Role

The role of Corporate Tax Associate will have the opportunity to develop their career with an award-winning tax team in Scotland, specialising in the growing and ever-changing field of taxation. The role will provide the opportunity to earn experience from a well-establish leadership team whilst working towards a professional tax qualification.

Day-to-day will be responsible for:

Handling a portfolio of corporate clients and delivering work to budget and deadlines.
Preparing corporation tax computations, provision, and tax returns.
Advising on corporation tax liabilities.
Assisting with general taxation matters as and when necessary.
Maintaining communication with HM Revenue & Customs.
Assisting managers with client queries and specialist advisory projects.
Progression on to more complex taxation work with support of our experienced staff.
Work towards your professional tax qualifications (ATT and CTA) with full study support on offer.

To be considered for the role you will ideally have:

A final year university student, or a recent university graduate with good academic results and transferable skills.
Alternatively, you will have relevant transferrable skills gained through your work experience and may be looking for a change of career.
Looking to pursue a career in tax, with an interest in corporate tax.
Willing to study towards and achieve ATT and CTA tax accountancy qualifications, which will be supported by the firm.
Able to demonstrate numeracy and literacy skills from your academic / work experience.
A confident communicator who can develop positive working relationships with a range of stakeholders, including with tax colleagues, clients, and other colleagues across the firm.
An experienced IT user, particularly with Microsoft Office applications.
