Corporate Tax Senior/ Assistant Manager

Stirling

Up to £43,000 P.A. plus additional working benefits 

A large independent accountancy firm requires the services of a Corporate Tax Senior/Assistant Manager on a full-time basis. They are looking for an experienced individual with a minimum of 2.5 years experience in Corporation Tax. Ideally this position is open to an ATT or an ICAS finalist or recently qualified. 

Role:

Depending on your experience the role will include:

  • Preparing and/or managing the corporation tax compliance for your portfolio of clients, including budget and billing management.
  • Reviewing work of more junior personnel, providing constructive feedback where necessary.
  • Working closely with more junior members of the team to aid their personal and technical development.
  • Assisting with tax advisory projects on clients within your portfolio

Requirements:

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to build strong relationships
  • Experience of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, MS Outlook).
  • Experience of using Alphatax
  • Experience of using CCH also desirable
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to quickly form professional relationships with colleagues and clients at all levels of seniority
  • Accurate and exceptional attention to detail
  • Flexible approach to work
  • Team player who deals effectively with colleagues and clients
  • Ability to prioritise and co-ordinate tasks efficiently ensuring all deadlines are met
  • Strong organisational skills

On Offer:

  • The full-time salary will be up to £43,000 (depending on experience and qualifications).
