Corporate Tax Senior/ Assistant Manager

Glasgow

Up to £43,000 P.A. plus additional working benefits

A large independent accountancy firm requires the services of a Corporate Tax Senior/Assistant Manager on a full-time basis. They are looking for an experienced individual with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Corporation Tax. Ideally this position is open to ATT or ICAS newly qualified.

Role:

Depending on your experience the role will include:

Preparing and/or managing the corporation tax compliance for your portfolio of clients, including budget and billing management.
Reviewing work of more junior personnel, providing constructive feedback where necessary.
Working closely with more junior members of the team to aid their personal and technical development.
Assisting with tax advisory projects on clients within your portfolio

Requirements:

Excellent attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
The ability to build strong relationships
Experience of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, MS Outlook).
Experience of using Alphatax
Experience of using CCH also desirable
Good interpersonal skills and ability to quickly form professional relationships with colleagues and clients at all levels of seniority
Accurate and exceptional attention to detail
Flexible approach to work
Team player who deals effectively with colleagues and clients
Ability to prioritise and co-ordinate tasks efficiently ensuring all deadlines are met
Strong organisational skills

On Offer:

The full-time salary will be up to £43,000 (depending on experience and qualifications).
The firm is willing to provide study support (if not already qualified) and flexible working hours at 35 hours per week
