iMultiply is working in partnership with a global accountancy practice that is currently looking to strengthen its Corporate Tax team by the recruitment of a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager in Glasgow.

The Company

The firm is part of a global network of accountants and business advisers and is a UK Top 10 practice. It is very well established in Scotland and can boast a strong Tax offering to its clients.

The Role

The Corporate Tax Assistant Manager role can offer exposure to complex clients, involvement in advisory projects and, for ambitious candidates, a fairly swift opportunity to reach Manager grade.

The role will include:

Reviewing Tax computations, advice and reports prepared by Associates
Assisting in the preparation of more complex returns and computations
Producing pieces of technical research using legislation, guidance from the tax authorities and the firm's own technical resources
Building a portfolio of clients
Acting as point of contact for queries from the client on specific projects
Coaching and mentoring junior members of staff
Involvement in Business Development opportunities
Continuing to develop an understanding of the commercial impact of Tax

Suitable candidates will be CA/CTA qualified with at least 3 years experience of working within a Corporate Tax team.
