iMultiply is working in partnership with DC Consulting in their search for a Corporate Finance Analyst.

The Role 

The position of Corporate Finance Analyst would be ideally suited to someone coming from an Accountancy Practice background. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be passionate about delivering an insightful and valued service.

The role will work in partnership with growing, dynamic businesses across a range of sectors. Building strong relationships with business owners and CFOs will be key to success and as such, the successful candidate should be able to build rapport and hold credible conversations.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and motivated Accountant looking to forge a career in Corporate Finance. The role will offer exposure to all elements of the deal cycle from origination to completion.

The Corporate Finance Analyst role is full-time, requiring 37.5 hours on a hybrid basis. The business has offices in Dundee and Edinburgh.

The role will have primary responsibility for the following: 

  • Preparation of detailed financial projections,
  • Detailed report writing, including business plans, which will form the basis for investment fundraising and other corporate finance activities
  • Liaising and identifying funders whether debt, equity, grant providers in connection with on-going fundraising assignments
  • Liaising with customers and intermediaries, building strong working relationships
  • Working closely with clients to support them through the entire fundraising process

Person Specification

  • CA/ACCA or equivalent qualified
  • Strong interpersonal, client-facing skills required and communication; 
  • Proactive and dynamic, results-orientated problem solver
  • Team player with a high level of dedication
  • Robust IT skills, specifically in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
  • Knowledge and understanding of accountancy packages Sage and Xero
  • Experience in preparation of financial management packs
  • Experience in report writing

This Corporate Finance Analyst role is offered on a full time, permanent basis with a competitive salary of £40,000 - £45,000 and great benefits package. The role offers flexible hybrid working with occasional attendance at their office in Edinburgh
