Accountancy Practice - Accountant (Qualified)

iMultiply is working in partnership with a successful, independent accountancy practice that is looking to recruit an Supervisor for its Business Services team

The Company

Our customer is an entrepreneurial accountancy practice that focuses on providing advice and outstanding business planning for its clients.


The Role

The Business Services team provide a wide range of accountancy and advisory services to owner managed business across the Central Belt of Scotland and beyond.

Main duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
  • Preparation of corporation tax and business tax computations
  • Ad-hoc bookkeeping duties using accounting software as applicable
  • Preparation of management accounts for clients and reporting in their required format
  • Client VAT Return preparation and review
  • Take responsibility for your work and be able to multi task in an organised manner
  • Meeting client face-to-face and developing good rapport while acting in a professional manner

Person Requirements

  • CA/ACCA/ACA qualified or nearly qualified with relevant Practice experience
  • Proven knowledge of preparing statutory accounts under FRS102 and FRS105
  • Working knowledge of Sage and Xero and Microsoft Office packages
  • Working knowledge of CCH desirable
