Due to internal growth, a well-established independent Chartered Accountancy firm is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join their successful Business Services team. This independent chartered accountancy firm has an excellent working culture across their offices in Scotland. As most of their clients are owner managed SME’s, the firm takes great pride in their customer service to clients.

The Role

The successful candidate must have a minimum of 1 year of practical bookkeeping experience and be highly motivated to deliver exemplary customer service. Candidates will be considered from a range of backgrounds including Accountancy Practice/Firm or Industry.

Duties and Responsibilities:

You will be involved in but not restricted to the following duties:

  • Assisting with management accounts
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Maintenance of fixed asset register
  • Processing journals, accruals, and prepayments
  • Preparing VAT Returns
  • Processing Invoices
  • Reconciling Accounts
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Liaising and building relations with internal and external stakeholders
  • Adhoc duties
