Audit Manager Responsibilities

Managing a varied portfolio of audit clients
Assisting the leadership team in the winning of new work
Developing the Firm’s audit service line
Building strong internal relationships with other offices and service lines
Developing and maintaining effective client relationships and identifying cross-selling opportunities where appropriate
Resource planning/staff allocation
Managing the audit from planning through to completion stage
Reviewing the audit work and leading by example
Reporting findings to Partners and preparing audit report/summary
Assisting with inhouse training sessions
Ensuring that work is completed within the agreed timescales and budgets

The person:

Be a Qualified Accountant – ACCA/ICAS or equivalent
Have had exposure to external audit within an Accountancy Firm
Possess strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport and credibility
Have a proactive and forward-thinking approach
