iMultiply are working with a fast growing, adventurous travel business to find their new full time Assistant Management Accountant in their Glasgow office.

The role

This travel business is actively seeking a dynamic Assistant Management Accountant. An ideal candidate for the position would be a enthusiastic part qualified accountant looking to continue their professional development in a fast-moving international travel business where they will be supported to complete their qualifications and develop their accountancy experience.

The Assistant Management Accountant is expected to, but not restricted to:

  • Assisting with the preparation of the monthly management accounts pack

  • Provide insight into company performance - Assistance with Balance Sheet

    reconciliations.

  • Develop accounting knowledge and understanding to improve accuracy of

    accounting.

  • Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register.

  • Bank Reconciliations.

  • Credit Card Reconciliations.

  • Intercompany Sales.

  • Assistance with Budget preparation.

  • Stock Journal.

  • Regulatory Submissions.

  • Work alongside other departments to improve efficiency of processes.

  • Ad hoc duties / analysis as and when required.

 

To succeed in the role you will need the following:

  • Ideally, 2 years experience in a similar role either QBE or part-qualified. 
  • If not already started, an interest in pursuing ACCA/CIMA qualifications. 
  • A drive to work in a fast-growing business while developing your accounting knowledge.
  • Experience of working with Netsuite or similar accounting package.
  • Problem solving skills and an ability to think outside the box.
  • Excellent Excel and other MS systems skills. 
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
