A large independent accountancy firm requires the services of an experienced Accounts Assistant/ Accounts Senior on a full-time basis. They are looking for an experienced individual with 3-4 years experience to join their Business Services, accounts team.

The Company 

iMultiply’s Practice team are working with a well established, forward-thinking Chartered Accountancy firm based in Edinburgh. The firm are looking to expand their dynamic and dedicated team and currently require an Accounts Senior or Part- Qualified Accountant due to the increase in work over the past year.

The Accounts Senior role will include:

  • Preparation of monthly or quarterly management accounts for a portfolio of clients
  • Review and submission of VAT returns
  • Preparation of statutory financial statements
  • Preparation of corporation tax computations and returns
  • Providing systems advice to clients, evolving into systems conversion, implementation, setup & training.
  • Liaising with clients to meet targets and deadlines also ensuring a high level of client service is delivered.
  • Identifying issues and taking proactive approach to reaching solutions.
  • Mentoring the junior members of the team and supporting the managers in achieving department targets.

On Offer:

  • Up to £28,000 P.A - (depending on experience)

  • You must have 2 years minimum experience working in a similar Accounting role within an accountancy firm
  • Experience of preparing accounts 
  • Ideally, you will have experience of cloud accounting software such as Xero, Sage or Quickbooks 
  • Excellent communication skills will be required, and you must be comfortable liaising with client personnel
