iMultiply are looking to recruit two Accounts Payable Assistants for a fast-paced company within the haulage industry, based within Renfrew.

The Company

The organisation is a global leading service provider in forwarding, transport and logistics of items requiring special care. They are going through a period of rapid growth, and need a new Accounts Payable Assistant to support that. With a vast portfolio range, the  operations are spread throughout Europe.

The Role

The purpose of this role is to ensure that all finance targets in relation to service, quality, accuracy and productivity are met at all times and to fully support the Finance Lead. You will be a proactive individual who thrives in a team environment and who is both flexible and hardworking in their approach to work with good customer service skills.

Responsibilities

  • Supplier invoice processing
  • Resolution of disputes received from SSC
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Actively follow up resolution on supplier disputes
  • Supplier payments – ensuring segregation from invoice processing
  • Supplier invoice reporting – invoices not yet processed
  • Correspond with suppliers and respond to all enquiries professionally & promptly
  • Weekly forecasting of supplier payments
  • Analysis of AP ledger – ensuring these are up to date
  • Improvement of DPO where possible
  • Provide reconciliation documents for financial audits
  • Suggest changes or improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency
