iMultiply are supporting a reputable international business with the appointment of an Accounts Payable Clerk to join the team on full time permanent basis.

The Company

The Role

As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will report to the Finance Manager and will be responsible for all purchase invoicing duties along with providing assistance for a variety of other duties within the finance function.

You will be involved in but not restricted to the following duties:

  • Processing invoices and expenses
  • Setting up new suppliers and maintaining supplier details 
  • Preparing BACS and foreign payment runs
  • Preparing and processing manual payments 
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Liaising with suppliers 
  • Liaising with purchasing department 
  • Dealing with supplier queries 
  • Reviewing supplier accounts and dealing with any outstanding issues. 

To be considered for this position you must have the following attributes:

  • Have a minimum of 12 months’ experience working within a similar Accounts Payable role
  • Exposure to operating in a fast-paced environment would be advantageous
  • Be analytically minded and a minimum of intermediate Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrable problem-solving skills will be required
