iMultiply are delighted to be working with a highly established and recognisable property firm to find an Accounts Assistant for their modern, city central Glasgow office.

The role

The Accounts Assistant will be working in the Real Estate Accounting Services team where the individual will be responsible for a range of service charge work across a varied client property portfolio.

You will be involved in but not limited to:

  • Processing invoices
  • Matching, coding and batching of invoices
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Financial administration
  • Dealing with petty cash
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Dealing with purchase and supplier enquiries
  • Ensuring compliance with processes, procedures and financial controls

In order to succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Technical understanding of accounting principles
  • Understanding of Real Estate transactions
  • Sophisticated experience in book keeping
  • Experience in reconciliation, accruals and prepayments would be advantageous
  • Attention to detail
  • Problem solving
  • Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
  • Relationship management
  • Ability to make decisions
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Numerical and analytically minded
  • Self-starter

On Offer
This full time role offers a salary up to £24,000, with flexible hours and a flexible working philosophy.

The offices are based in Central Glasgow and is a short walk from Glasgow Queen Street.
