Due to internal growth, a Top 10 Chartered Accountancy firm is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their successful Business Services team. This chartered accountancy firm has an excellent presence and a varied portfolio across their offices in the UK. 

The Role

The successful candidate must have a minimum of 1 year of practical bookkeeping experience and be highly motivated to deliver exemplary customer service. Candidates will be considered from a range of backgrounds including Accountancy Practice/Firm or Industry.

Duties and Responsibilities:

You will be involved in but not restricted to the following duties:

  • Producing annual statutory accounts and management accounts,
  • Assisting with cloud record keeping for a number of clients.
  • Preparation of VAT and other tax computations and returns
  • Providing systems advice to clients, evolving into systems conversion, implementation, setup & training.
  • Liaising with clients to meet targets and deadlines also ensuring a high level of client service is delivered.
  • Identifying issues and taking proactive approach to reaching solutions.
  • Advising and assisting with general ad-hoc accounting advice
