up to £27,000 and full study support

iMultiply is working in partnership with a Glasgow-based accountancy practice to recruit for an Accounts Assistant.

The Practice

This firm is a very reputable and respected accountancy practice in Glasgow and is one of Scotland's longest established independent firms of Chartered Accountants. During the last few years, they have expanded both in terms of headcount and service offering and are known for the high quality of their work and their excellent customer service. Due to the growth, the firm is looking to add to its already impressive team.

The Role 

This busy, growing practice is looking for someone with at least 1.5 years of experience working within a Practice firm and to work on a Full-Time basis.

The Accounts Assistant role will include:

  • You will be a key point of contact to a portfolio of clients and provide efficient and effective service to clients ranging from Sole-Traders to large Limited Companies
  •  Assist with the preparation of Financial Statements 
  • Preparation of CT600’s and Income Tax Returns 
  • Preparation and submission of VAT returns
  • General Bookkeeping duties

  • You must have 1.5 years of experience (minimum) working in a Public Practice firm
  • Experience in preparing accounts for the disclosure stage (or trial balance stage)
  • You will have experience with cloud accounting software such as Xero, Sage or IRIS
  • Excellent communication skills will be required, and you must be comfortable liaising with client personnel
