Accountant – Full or Part Time

iMultiply are delighted to be engaged on the position of Accountant with a small independent Accountancy Practice in Edinburgh.

The Company

This role provides the opportunity to join a highly successful independent Accountancy Firm based in Edinburgh. The business has a flexible culture where people can work in the office or at home. The offices offer parking.

The Role

The role of Accountant would be well suited to a Qualified Accountant with experience in a small or medium sized Accountancy Firm. The role has the opportunity to lead to a more senior role, with the prospect of equity for the right person.

Day-to-day you will be responsible for;:

Advising and consulting with clients face to face and by telephone or email
Preparing annual statutory accounts for a wide variety of SMEs
Preparation of management accounts and adhoc reports
Preparing corporation tax returns
Preparing VAT returns
Communicating findings to Directors in a clear and concise manner
Managing workload to ensure deadlines are met whilst always maintaining a high level of service
Liaising with clients

To be considered for the role you will ideally have;

Experience of working in Accountancy Practice
Knowledge of systems such as Sage, Iris, Xero
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
